The relaunch of this website marks a landmark shift in sports journalism.

The origins of SILVERMAN: On Sports date back to single television talk show I hosted back in 1990 of the same name. Two and a half years ago, I launched S:OS on terrestrial radio. Just over a year ago, I made the decision to move the show to take advantage of the future of radio, the internet and found the best home for the show, Sofloradio.com.

In August, 2011, I started writing for a great college sports website, BeyondUSports.com and I completely enjoy writing columns for such an up and coming site. I will continue to creating columns for them for a long time to come.

Today, this all new SILVERMAN: On Sports will give me the ability to expand my influence over the sports world, the entire sports world. From the Monday night radio show from 7-9pm EST on Sofloradio.com, to my thoughts in 140 characters on Twitter through @SilvermanShow and now anytime I wish here, I will bring the best news and analysis you can find anywhere, through any medium.

No other website offers professional commentary, radio podcasts of the most unique sports show in the world and links to the best websites. All this and it is free to you!
