RADIO SHOW “BREAKFAST WITH THE STRIKERS” TO DEBUT ON THE TICKET SATURDAY MORNING

“Voice of Strikers” Bruce Silverman to host soccer show on 104.3 FM / 790-AM every Saturday at 8 a.m.

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. (Thursday, June 25, 2015) – The Fort Lauderdale Strikers and leading South Florida radio station the Ticket are teaming up for a new soccer radio show, “Breakfast with the Strikers.” The club’s television play-by-play broadcaster Bruce Silverman will serve as host for the show, which will run Saturdays from 8-9 a.m. EDT on the Ticket (104.3 FM and 790 AM).  “Breakfast with the Strikers” debuts this Saturday.

“The Ticket is excited to serve the soccer audience and to be able to give our local soccer experts a voice,” said the Ticket Program Director Len Weiner. “We are looking forward to a long partnership with the Fort Lauderdale Strikers.”

The show will include an in-depth look at the Strikers, as well as news and information from throughout the world of soccer.

About the Fort Lauderdale Strikers:

The Fort Lauderdale Strikers compete in the North American Soccer League (NASL). The Strikers were acquired last fall by an ownership group led by Paulo Cesso, Ricardo Geromel and Rafael Bertani. Brazilian soccer icon Ronaldo Luís Nazário de Lima, commonly known as Ronaldo, joined the ownership in December. The team plays in venerable Lockhart Stadium, which was built in 1959 and has hosted professional soccer for more than 35 years. The team finished as the NASL runner-up in 2014.
