They play for the third oldest trophy in American Soccer, the Soccer Bowl. It is the crowing achievement of the North American Soccer League.

After twenty-eight games there were only two team left: San Antonio Scorpions and Fort Lauderdale Strikers.

The Scorpions were the best team on the NASL pitch in the Fall Season and the Strikers came into the game riding an eight game unbeaten streak. It had all the making of an epic final and the sold out crowd at Toyota Field in San Antonio were treated to a true league championship game on November 15, 2014.

SILVERMAN: On Sports and SoFloRadio.com were proud to be the exclusive world-wide radio station for the game. Coverage began at 6:30pm EST with a two-hour pre-game show followed by the game and a very emotional post-game program.

As the voice of the Fort Lauderdale Strikers Bruce Silverman was proud to round out the broadcast with the color commentary of Richard Schwartz and Jack Charles serving as the engineer of the broadcast.

This is the entire five hour broadcast. The game was electric from the beginning. The Scorpions won the title 2-1 and the action was fast paced and more than worthy of league championship.
