Tonight’s show is not one you will hear on most sports radio shows. We discussed topics most hosts won’t touch.

I discussed the country club sports in the same hour! Golf first with Nick Masuda of Golf Week Magazine. Nick is an incredible writer and his analysis of Tiger Wood’s win at his own ATT tournament was spot on. Tiger has now won three times on tour this year: Arnold Palmer’s Bay Hill, Jack Nickalaus’ Memorial and his own. That is quite a threepeat.

Moving to tennis and the upsets at Wimbledon, I enlisted the help of two of the nation’s former collegiate champions: Caryn and Stacy Moss. Great conversation about the state of tennis around the country and around the world. The second week of the fortnight should be interesting and then there is Olympic tennis right back at the All England Club.

Bruce Udoff, our legal analysis joined us again to discuss the latest with Jerry Sandusky. Yes the trial is over and he was convicted on 45 counts of sexual child abuse but this tragedy is far from over. The cover up at Penn State and the depths of knowledge of Sandusky’s actions will be in our conversations for years to come.

Thanks for the great calls and texts throughout the show. This is going to be a rocking summer for SILVERMAN: On Sports! Enjoy!
