Happy Memorial Day everybody! While most shows were taking the day off, I made sure we brought you the most unique sports talk in the world!
Great conversations on the biggest sports stories with some of the best in the business!
Special thanks to three SILVERMAN: On Sports originals for joining in on the fun tonight. Starting with Dave Schofield our MLB and Soccer correspondent for a spirited and insightful discussion on the state of soccer in the USA. We also talked about the first two months of the Major League Baseball season.
From Dave, I talked NHL with Michael Russo of the Star Tribune in Minneapolis. Mike is one of the best hockey writers in the world and an old friend. Great discussion about the NHL today and where it could be headed in the near future. Mike picks the LA Kings to win Lord Stanley’s Cup.
Thanks to Josh Appel, one of the first producers of the show for calling in and talking MLB, NHL and NBA with me.
I finished the show by going live to my current producer, Adam Cristo who was in the American Airlines Arena to cover the Heat-Celtic game one for the show. Adam predicts a sweep by Miami. We shall see. The West looks so very tough with the Spurs leading the Thunder in the conferences finals. San Antonio has won an amazing 19 straight games!
Enjoy the show!
