The NFL Draft, the Players Championship, Michael Sam drafted and the Strikers jump to the top of the NASL table!
Tonight was an action packed show and a blast to host.
We started off with Barry Barnes of LockerReport.com. Barry broke down the draft and gave insight into the best of the draft. We also discussed Johnny Manziel and Michael Sam.
Next up, Nick Masuda of Golfweek magazine. The Players is the unofficial fifth golf major and it was a great tournament. It was also played on one of the best courses in the world. We discussed the winner, Martin Kaymer as well as the absence of Tiger Woods.
Cyd Zeigler of Outsports.com has been an insider with Michael Sam and it was fitting to have Cyd on the show to discuss the seventh round pick of the St. Louis Rams. We discussed the pick, the team, the player and the history.
In the SILVERMAN: On Strikers segment, I welcomed Mark “Sparky” Anderson. Sparky scored the second goal is a Strikers 4-0 rout of the Atlanta Silverbacks at Lockhart on Saturday night. We had a great discussion of the game, the team, the season and the Cosmos. Yep the Cosmos!
