How much fun is it to talk sports at night? It’s a blast!

We started the show talking about our sports weekend and certainly that discussion was about the NASL debut of Miami FC in front of 10,156 fans. Great start for the new franchise.

New stadiums for franchises is a hot topic and we discussed the economics and logistics with Roger Noll. Noll is a profession of economics at Stanford University. Certainly Roger helped the show increase its IQ!

Buddy Evans is an executive vice president at an YMCA in Florida. We talked about youth development through sports and competition and the role the Y plays in our communities.

We discussed Cordele Jones’ comments about the NCAA and discussed their merits.

Finally, we welcome backed author Dan Epstein on the heels of his recent article for Rolling Stone on the fantastic baseball classic, The Bad New Bears. A great conversation was had on that flick as well as a number of other baseball movies.

Enjoy!
