There are no fools on SILVERMAN: On Sports!

Thanks to Dave Schofield for bring his spring training to the show and kicking off Opening Day with me.

Hudson Taylor is a 26 year-old powerhouse making a difference in sports. Hudson created Athlete Ally and his organization and ambassadors are changing the world. Homosexuality in the United States is a hot topic subject today. Sports is the last domino in our society to tumble for gay rights. Athlete Ally and Hudson’s efforts are clearing the path for closeted athletes to come out.

Ian Gold from came on to talk about the NCAA Tournament and what a dance it has been so far. We ran the gamut from Kevin Ware’s gruesome injury to the Cinderella from Florida Gulf Coast to the Shockers shocking the world.

>>>SIDE NOTE…FGCU coach Andy Enfield signed on as the new coach at Southern Cal. Ian and I discussed this possibility on the show tonight.

Will Manso is the sports director at WPLG ABC in Miami. We always have a great time talking about the failings of the Florida Marlins, but tonight we had the great state of basketball in South Florida. Will has been covering the Heat for years and has great insight into their coach Erik Spoelstra as well as the superstars. We mixed in some great The U talk too!

I finished the show with the fan favorite, the new hit SILVERMAN: On Sports segment…Smart or Stupid with Adam Cristo!
