I have conducted thousands of interviews in my career. I have hosted so many talk shows, I can’t even count. Tonight’s show is without a doubt my favorite show and certainly the most important of my career.

Equality to me is one of the most important issues facing this country today. In my opinion, everything will improve including the economy once marriage equality and gay rights are the law of the land. Tonight, I walked that walk and talked that talk.

I want to thank Chris Kluwe, Punter from the Minnesota Vikings; Cyd Zeigler, Founder of Outsports.com; Brendon Ayanbadejo Linebacker of the Super Bowl Champion Baltimore Ravens; Hudson Taylor, Founder of AthleteAlly.org and Brian Ellner, Gay Rights activist for all coming on the show tonight. The forum was amazing, the discussions were lively and candid and the radio was as good as you will find anywhere in the world.

In the middle of the show, I was alone with my thoughts. No guests, no callers, no script, no notes, just me and I told you exactly how I felt about equality in this country. It was one of my most insightful commentaries.

Radio is a medium that allows the message to be the focal point. Never have I been a part of a show that was more necessary than this one.

Reach out and discuss gay rights and marriage equality with all of my guests and me @SilvermanShow on Twitter. One day soon, everyone is this country will be equal. One day soon, there will be openly gay athletes in all sports and in all walks of life!

Enjoy!
