What an interesting sports radio show!
We started off talking about the news of the day and that certainly is the University of Miami’s firing of head football coach Al Golden.
We then moved our discussion to Chicago and the very funny and experienced Les Grobstein of WSCR 670 The Score. All things Chicago was discussed from the Cubs to the Bulls and even the Milwaukee Brewers.
You know how much I love topic radio and tonight we tackled the important topic of mental health and depression. This is a real issue in our country. Dr. George Shepeard of FIU works with the university’s athletic department helping their athletes. Dr. Steven Arkin is a neurologist at Lukes Hospital in Kansas City. Dr. Arkin had a very candid discussion regarding his career and his family’s tragedy of losing his son to suicide.
Folks, this is radio the way it should be done. It is certainly sports radio the way no one else will do it!
